More New Jobs On Their Way
Governor Holcomb was on hand as the software firm Kernauno announced that it was expanding here in Indiana, picking the state as its official headquarters. Kernauno plans to expand its staff to a total of 140 Hoosiers in the coming years, with wages above local and state averages! The company said that expanding in Indiana made sense, citing the incredible talent pool here and positive business environment supported by Indiana’s state government
Computer Science Educaton on Showcase
Governor Holcomb also welcomed middle school and high school computer science students to the Statehouse this week for the Indiana K-12 Computer Science Showcase. Students from across the state came together to showcase their web, app and computing device projects – and there was some pretty impressive stuff. With these young talented Hoosiers, there’s no question that the next big tech innovation will be developed here in Indiana!
