Holcomb-Crouch Inaugural Events Announced

Big & Rich concert Aug. 19, inaugural gala Aug. 21 in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS– Eric Holcomb for Indiana campaign manager Kyle Hupfer announced today the schedule of events for the Holcomb-Crouch inauguration. These events, which would have traditionally occurred in the lead up to the swearing-in ceremony, were postponed late last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • A concert featuring country music legends Big & Rich will occur on Thursday, August 19 at the TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park.
  • A black-tie Inaugural Gala will occur on Saturday, August 21 at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis.

Sponsorship opportunities and ticket information is available at ImagineIndiana.org.

Tickets for Big & Rich go on sale Friday, July 23 at 10:00am Eastern Time. A link to buy tickets will be available at ImagineIndiana.org.

“These events aren’t just to celebrate our governor and lt. governor, this is a way for us to bring together the entire Holcomb-Crouch team that worked so hard to make the governor’s historic reelection happen and to celebrate all Hoosiers for their sacrifice and resilience during the global pandemic,” said Hupfer. “These events will be a great opportunity to remember our shared victories and reaffirm our commitment to helping Governor Holcomb continue building One Indiana for All.”

The cost of events for the Holcomb-Crouch inauguration are covered by private donations and ticket sales and are organized and executed by Imagine Indiana, Inc., a 501(c)(4).

In November 2020, Hoosiers historically endorsed Governor Holcomb’s leadership by overwhelmingly reelecting the Holcomb-Crouch ticket to a second term. Governor Holcomb received the most votes for governor of any candidate in the history of the state and his margin of victory was the widest ever recorded. Shortly after the 2020 election, Hupfer announced that traditional celebratory events related to the swearing in of the governor and lt. governor would be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The legal swearing in of Governor Holcomb and Lt. Governor Crouch into their second terms occurred on January 11, 2021. That ceremony can be viewed here.
