This week marked the first full week of the 2019 legislative session. While bills are being filed and committees are starting to meet, Governor Eric Holcomb is already moving full steam ahead to deliver Next Level results for Hoosiers! That includes introducing his budget proposal, which would be Indiana’s EIGHTH consecutive balanced budget! It keeps our state pensions funded and our debt low (talk about good government!).
He also spoke at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Indiana Holiday Celebration at the Statehouse, continuing the legacy of the late civil rights leader.
And next Tuesday, he’ll hit the airwaves statewide to deliver his third State of the State Address at 7 p.m. ET. Governor Holcomb will talk about the momentum we’ve built together throughout the state, and the work ahead of us to continue taking Indiana to the Next Level.
